I thought that this argument against abortion put forward by Kathy Ireland was very good, clear, reasonable, scientific.

The moment of conception a new life comes into being, the DNA, the genetic blueprint is there, the sex is determined, the blood type is determined, a unique set of blueprints is there.

A clump of cells if you get it early enough, it does not look like a child?

The unborn human being does not look like a baby the same way a baby does not look like a teenager, a teenager does not look like a senior, but that is how human beings look at that stage of development. Human life continues to grow and change. Some people say if you get it at a certain time it is okay. According to the law of biogenesis all life comes from pre existing previous life, and each species reproduces after its own kind, therefore human beings can only reproduce other human beings, so it does not start out as one thing and turn in to something else along the way.

Some people will say it is a woman’s body, it is her choice?

There is a 50% chance that a women will be pregnant with a male child, and he would have a penis, women do not have penises, therefore it is residing in her body, it is not part of her body, And the bottom line is I really believe if the unborn is not a human being have as many abortions as you like, no justification is necessary, if on the other hand the unborn is a human being no justification is adequate, unless the mother’s life is in danger, but then you would not be acting to kill, you would be acting to safe a life. And I also believe that when an abortion takes place there are two victims, women are not given all the facts.

Yes, but Planned Parenthood has a heck of a long head start on us with closing people’s minds to the truth. I have had extensive discussions with people who are pro-abortion and nothing you tell them about science will change their minds, which are made up and closed. You can quote scientific studies until you are blue in the face and show them medical textbooks, all for naught. Medical science has agreed for decades that life begins at conception but people are just in denial when they want to be.

I believe it’s only the Holy Spirit who can open these minds and hearts. At least I have not been effective in doing it, no matter what science or moral argument I try. Whether I am polite or assertive, or even rude, it makes no difference at all. We get to a certain point, and their minds snap shut.
