Right back at you. :flowers:For you.:flowers:
Right back at you. :flowers:For you.:flowers:
It was nice you didn’t really though, thanks.(I ignore irrelevant statements)
*A person is an entity from the following points of view:
Mostly agreed. Did you consciously leave off mental/psychological? I would also, because I’m not convinced we have the same personality (we are the same person) throughout our lives, for various reasons including:
- Metaphysical
- Epistemological
- Moral
- Religious
- Social
- Legal
- Aesthetic
- Economic
- Medical
- Common sense*
I don’t believe it. Again you seem to have grasped the idea in my post. Yes, a thousand times, yes, at some stage or another. What’cha talking about? You said, “Every bit of earth was covered by water at some stage or another.”
This appears to be an exceptionally difficult concept for you, so maybe if I say it loud:
"at some stage or another"
means
NOT ALL AT ONCE
Now Granny! I don’t want to argue with you too. Finally, some common sense appears.
For you.:flowers:
…and how did Noahs Flood flood the earth? Yes, yes, not all at once!
This is a very delicate process for some people here. They are only just beginning to admit that the earth, every bit of it, not only could have been, but actually was covered with water.
d’accord!. Every bit of it, not all at once. d’accord!Doth not compute?
Explique por favor.
False - you need to study geology. The Cascade Volcanoes from California to British Columbia were not under water.I don’t think you understand what I am saying. Modern geology studies [among other things] the sedimentary rock that was laid down by ancient seas and oceans. Every bit of earths landmass has a stack of sedimentary rock layers each different set of layers formed beneath different seas and oceans at different times and places. Every bit of earth was covered by water at some stage or another.
What do you mean? What explains psychology?
I
I consider “medical” to include both the physical and psychological because we are neither angels not beasts but persons who cannot be explained solely in terms of the body or soul - as St Paul points out.A person is an entity from the following points of view:
Not in this case!I’d also strike #10, common sense, which imho is overrated since it sometimes misleads us.
Perhaps theology without the Incarnation…All this, of course, implies the soul is at the very least organic (in the arty sense) and probably upsets a whole apple cart of theology, but whatever.![]()
Catholic teaching about Adam and Eve is no more relevant to genetic science than Hindu teaching about reincarnation is to genetics. If a Hindu claim is that person Y is person X reincarnated, this is not relevant to the comparative study of person X and person Y’s DNA.The Catholic Church teaches Divine Revelation, which includes a belief in a transcendent, pure spirit, personal Creator God. The Catholic Church continues to hold that the carefully defined source of humanity consists of two, sole, real, human parents as sole, real founders of the human species.
I already cleared this up with the specific poster. If you insist to beat a dead horse then I will answer with a question: how would you react if I give you the assignment to use your imagination to tell me how the the Bible was all faked by man, Jesus was a fraud and God doesn’t exist?Would you like to be addressed as “a random person”?
Just out of curiosity: did you study geology or are you a scientist? I’m just curious on what expertise you base your knowledge.Exactly. I knew you’d get it in the end. Everyone is mightily agreed the earth was covered in water. huraahh…
Can psychological activity be explained in terms of neuronal activity? Do you put genetics and biology before psychology chronologically? What explains psychology?
“You” relies on www.icr.org.Just out of curiosity: did you study geology or are you a scientist? I’m just curious on what expertise you base your knowledge.
What do you mean by “chronologically”?Can psychological activity be explained in terms of neuronal activity? Do you put genetics and biology before psychology chronologically?
The Catholic doctrines regarding human nature are very relevant to the human person.Catholic teaching about Adam and Eve is no more relevant to genetic science than Hindu teaching about reincarnation is to genetics. If a Hindu claim is that person Y is person X reincarnated, this is not relevant to the comparative study of person X and person Y’s DNA.
A theological doctrine – whether Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Hindu Muslim, Buddhist, or other – is irrelevant to science.

I cannot discover where you explained why you used the term “random”.I already cleared this up with the specific poster.
How about doing my assignment?I cannot discover where you explained why you used the term “random”.

Incorrect. The Farallon plate began subducting under the west coast of the North American Plate during the Jurassic Period. Which means your volcanoes did not exist at that time and that area of the Farallon plate was then under the Panthalassic Ocean.False - you need to study geology. The Cascade Volcanoes from California to British Columbia were not under water.
