You do not understand science to say this. Anymore than someone whining about how they don’t like how their pastor has their church set up.
Science should not be treated as a failure anymore than religion should for it’s shortcomings.
Ignorance of Science should be a concern for Catholics today.
Who are you to say that I am ingorant to Science. I know what my Church teaches.
The teachings of Christ by the way have NO Shortcomings. Where have I every blamed the RCC for the mistakes and conducts of a Priest, a Pope, Bishop or member of the Church. If you ever read my posts it is I who have said you do not lay the sins of Peter at the feet of Christ.
I thing ignorance of Christ should be a larger concern for all People today not science. When it comes to judgement day I do not believe I have to stand before God with understanding of science.
But I KNOW I must stand before Christ for my knowledge of my SINS.
There are things in science that are not accepted in the RCC. Who are you to judge us for our faith and fialure to accept a wrong that is taught according to our faith.
What about abortion, just because we can take a pill, etc to end that human life, and science has the knowledge to do this, it is still not a sin? I think not!
As I stated earlier the RCC does accept and welcome Science, Unless it is in direct conflict with the word of God. We have the right to reject science when it causes one of our brothers or sister to fall to a state of sin.
Science has many times become in direct conflict with the word of God and when this practice is offered it should always be rejected by Christians. That is not ignorance of science, it is educated in Christ.
