And “cosmetics are basically vanity products” is your opinion and not more than that. It is not a theological doctrine that cosmetics are synonymous with vanity.

The Church has a moral responsibility to tell the faithful if something is a serious evil, and it has done so many times before. The reason you cannot find such statements for responsible animal testing with cosmetic products is because it does not exist.

I’m gonna say it, this is heresy. You need to repent friend. Humans are not inferior to animals. If the opposite were so, than God would never have permitted humanity to KILL and EAT them.

On top of that, your horrid theology blatantly contradicts Genesis:

Humanity is inheritly greater than creation because God made us in HIS image. God formed each and every one of us in the womb, He knows every hair on our heads and knows us each by name.

I’m curious about something. The European Union has banned the manufacture and sale of ALL cosmetics products involving animal testing. They have also banned import and sale of such products including ingredients which have involved animal testing.
The cosmetics industry in the EU continues to produce cosmetics products safely for humans without animal testing.
How is it that there is no ban in the US? It can’t be argued in the US that animal testing is required because clearly it isn’t, which means in the US unnecessary suffering is being inflicted on animals.

The Church does not say to experiment on animals for cosmetics. That is your interpretation. Mine is different.
It also seems like you are saying that experimenting on animals for cosmetics should continue even though they can be produced without the need for that.

The EU is usually ahead of the US on issues like this. It has also outlawed capital punishment, has less severe prison sentences, etc.
 
The EUSSR also says that abortion is completely fine. Just because some governmental body says it’s right doesn’t make it so.
