The soul is immaterial and cannot be detected by a camera, regardless of the circumstances.

Any phenomenon which is detected is not, and cannot, be a soul.

Meow.

It was 110 years ago that a scientist tried to weigh the human soul. This is an incident of the same type.

It is not the spiritual soul. Photos made are by gas-discharge visualization (GDV) technique in Kirlian photography. I made such a Kirlian photography device and made photos too. I believe they are simply corona discharge which can reveal various patterns of conductance.

Plenty of people have managed to get orbs and other spiritual entities on camera before, so whats the difference?

What makes you think orbs are spiritual? Light does strange things.

In this age of digital image manipulation, it doth behooveth us to not reject the null hypothesis until we are forced to.

As GEddie observed; those orbs which you saw, whatever they are, are material. Because you can see them.
