Okay, I used to work at a bank and there was this girl (customer)who had 666 tatooed across the middle of her forehead :eek: . It looked as though she did it herself. And it wasn’t small…
She was really sweet, but really out there. I think she had fried too many brain cells.
Anyway, if there’s anyone on here in my area, they know who I am talking about. And I guess they know who I am now, too!
 
I had a scientologist say they could be catholic and scientologist. I informed them it was impossible and would be considered apostasy. You can’t be both.

Generally, tattoos are frowned upon because you are messing with the body that God gave you. There is a statement to that effect in the Catechism but I’m too lazy to get it.
If this is so, then what about coloring your hair, perms, nose jobs, pierced ears, breast surgery…
It would be wrong if you were damaging (as in causing illness) your body for vain reasons, but mostly to tattoo or not to tattoo is a cultural issue, not a moral one.
