Yes,
Christ was very careful to follow Jewish custom.
After supper he took the cup “For this is the chalice of my blood of the new and eternal testament the mystery of faith which will be shed for you and for many unto the remission of sins”

Then went on to drink from this 4th chalice as it was now HIS BLOOD. As every Priest drinks first at Mass today.

A testament is a will bequeathing something and is valid when the person dies. Christ was referring to his death the next day.

Two nitpicks.

First, He said “Let this cup pass from me” in the garden, not on the cross, and the reference was specifically to the suffering He was about to undergo, not to a “cup” of wine.

Second, it was wine that he was offered on the sponge, albeit the cheap sour wine that Roman soldiers were used to drinking, not vinegar as we know it. The word “vinegar” was a bad King-James-era translation choice.

No, but he mentioned that Jesus first refuses the wine and gall mixture on the way to the cross, but then on the cross he accepts the sour wine.
