I have listened to Scott Hahn’s CD on how he became Roman Catholic and it is incredible!! As a Protestant who is striving to become RC, I find the reasons he left the Protestant church very compelling and I find myself thinking about the same things he wrestled with. If any Protestant wants to know the truth about the RCC and why it makes sense over Protestantism, he is a fantastic resource!!👍

Yes, I love that cd as well. If you think that is interesting, I’d like to suggest you read an interview which appeared recently with Kimberly Hahn, his wife in the National Catholic Register. The Coming Home Network also has some excellent conversion stories you may be able to relate to as well. We are all on this journey together, some just take different routes to get to the same place. 😉

Peace be with you,

Kelly

Yes, it is quite a keeper. If I recall right he goes into some depth about his interest in “saving” a friend, all the books he read…his own research and struggle…and the initial reluctance of his wife, the reaction of the family, his friends and his students.

He touches on his subsequent career path.

I recommend every seeker try to get hold of it.

There is an enormous resource of Scott Hahn’s CD’s available for download. We’re talking hours upon hours of MP3s. I listen to them at work…ear phones of course. It’s quite easy to listen and work for me.

Scott Hahn made an enormoius impact on my reversion. Especially after reading “The Lamb’s Supper”. It’s like my old Catholic conscience vortexed back. It answered many questions that were never either understood by me or conveyed to me properly. I always suspected though.

I now try to use my strong bible knowledge to show others how Catholicism is all in there. I’m still doing research and committing to memory much of what I’ve learned in hopes of helping others like me. A former preacher and friend of mine sent me some materials from his ministry and I had flash backs…not happy ones…

Imagine “wide is the gate, straight is the path that leads to distruction!” all said with a quivering voice. YOU’RE GOING TO BURN IN HELL but we love you mentality. I’m still shaking from listening and watching the DVD. I’m preparing materials to refute his “Authority” lesson. Losing battle, but I need the practice.

This is wonderful news I heard all day, welcome home. I love Scott Hahns books, I am just getting around to this author. It is wonderful how he takes 2000 year old Roman Catholic teaching and making them seem so new today. I love the way he does that,it is very edifying.

You know I liken your example to our Popes and Supreme Magisterium throughout the ages. Their infallible teachings on faith and morals seem like a new invention to every age and language including our own, but in reality these infallible teachings on faith and morals are 2000 years old. They just get defined and revealed to the understandings of a changing humanity since the times of the Apostles.

Scott Hahn is a credit to our 2000 year old Catholic Traditions. By bringing back The Apostolic teachings to light in our time.

Does anyone know if any of his books are on CD? Or if any Catholic author’s books are on CD for that matter?

The reason I ask is because we are going on vacation (9 hr.) drive & I cannot read while the car is moving (motion sickness). I’d like to rip some books to my mp3.

Thanks in advanced
