In one of his most recent books, Hahn mentions he had a major biblical break throught on a particular passage. However, in the part that I read at the book store, he never stated his break through–Any ideas at to what it was?

I’m all ears about what Hahn is referring to.

On TV, he has mentioned a number of epiphanies he has had when looking at scripture with Catholic eyes wide open. Like he and Marcus Grodi have discussed passages in scripture that never seemed important to them for a long time, then BANG the light floods in, and they are inspired.
 
I have several of Dr. Hahn’s tape and CD series. In the series “Romanism in Romans” he makes reference to his Protestant belief that Abraham is seen as justified in Gen15:6.

Dr. Hahn then mentions all the things Abraham did in Gen. 12, 13 and 14 and he wonders if Abraham could have done those things without saving faith. He then references Heb.11:8-9 which tells us that Abraham had “faith” back in Gen. 12. Dr. Hahn concludes that the story of Abraham is a steady growing in faith, a maturing in faith, right up to Gen.22 when Abraham offers up his son, Issac. I hope this helps.
