NB: that’s GENERAL as each parish has a different configuration as to kneeling accommodations, etc. The specifics would be left to the pastor, I would think.

It’s GENERAL in that the same rules apply to all parishes around the world but some rules can be tweaked for a specific territory if a Bishops’ Conference requests it.

As an example, the universal GIRM, in the article on posture, calls for kneeling only at the Consecration and standing from the Mysterium Fidei until the end of Mass, but allowing kneeling or sitting upon return from Communion as the person wishes. But the article on posture specifically says that a Bishops’ Conferences can adapt that article for its own territory.

That’s why in the US you have a posture adaptation that applies to every parish in every diocese (kneeling after the Sanctus until after the Amen) and you have one that applies to all parishes in all dioceses UNLESS a bishop decides otherwise for his own diocese (kneeling from after the Agnus Dei until Communion). If a bishop decides that his diocese will remain standing from after the Amen until return from Communion, it is to be observed by all parishes in that diocese.

I wasn’t aware of ME trying to teach anything - just sharing what CHRIST wants to teach us through His Doctor of the Church, St. Catherine of Siena. It seems to be a difficult concept to grasp, but one of great importance.
