Scotus and/or Bonaventure Assistance?

Hello, I’m an undergraduate starting preliminary research for my senior thesis, which is going to be on Angelology. Unfortunately, I do not know latin, and so am having a hard time finding useable texts on the subject from Scotus or Bonaventure, whose thoughts on the nature of angelic existence and movement I was hoping to investigate alongside aquinas.

Does anyone know of any online (or print) translations of Scotus’ or Bonaventure’s works, especially those concerned with angels/intelligences?

I saw this thread and drew a total blank. In and of myself, I’m still drawing a blank.

But, I got a book today from Intervarsity Press, a list of ancient citations (commentaries) on verses in the Book of Romans. That series on “Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture” is much earlier than Scotus and Bonaventure.

But, they have this database on which their series of published commentaries is based.

You might try browsing their websiste here ivpress.com/accs/ and/or contacting them to see what they might have.

The commentary on Romans which I got in the mail today has about a dozen references to angels in the book’s index.

They might be able to give you some pointers on what you’re looking for.

This volume on Romans has a couple of Catholic priests on the list of contributors or reviewers (whatever) so they may have the list of reference works that you are interested in.
