Hello, I’m an undergraduate starting preliminary research for my senior thesis, which is going to be on Angelology. Unfortunately, I do not know latin, and so am having a hard time finding useable texts on the subject from Scotus or Bonaventure, whose thoughts on the nature of angelic existence and movement I was hoping to investigate alongside aquinas.
Does anyone know of any online (or print) translations of Scotus’ or Bonaventure’s works, especially those concerned with angels/intelligences?
This is what I’ve found thus far:
Scotus’ treatise
ewtn.com/library/THEOLOGY/GODASFIR.HTM
And a few sections of Bonaventure’s commentary on lombard
franciscan-archive.org/bonaventura/opera/distinction-III-A1.htm
franciscan-archive.org/bonaventura/opera/distinction-III-A2.htm
I’m sorry if this was the wrong section of the forum to post this in. Thank you all and God bless!
