I’ve the heard the common NT verses and a friend pointed out another, (Isaiah 22 around verse 20), I was wondering if there were other prefigurements.

How about Genesis 41:38-45, when Pharaoh (a figure of Christ) made Joseph (a figure of the papacy) governor over Egypt and over all his household (a figure of the Church).

I find the symbols of office and honor given to Joseph similar to the papacy:
42Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in garments of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; 43and he made him to ride in his second chariot; and they cried before him, “Bow the knee!”

Even the old testament priesthood had a high priest beginning with Aaron. If you read how God set him apart to be the ultimate decision maker in points of contention, it very much resembles the role of the pope in the NT. The high priest even had special garments made to show his position.
