I am relatively new to the Catholic church. (Confirmation on November 4) I noticed in our Sunday bulletin that on Weds at 6pm our church has an organized “scriptural” rosary. Does anyone know the difference between a “scriptural” rosary as opposed to a “regular” rosary?? There is no delegated time for praying the rosary, however there is a Eucharistic adoration that is offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I assume that during one of these times on can pray the rosary at the church on their own.
Also I noticed that on several mornings our church has a Liturgy of the Word/Communion service?? Would this be the same as a weekday mass?? What types of services during the week are offered at your parishes??
Just a couple of things I had questions about. Wondering what might be offered at other Catholic parishes. Similar or Different??
