Absolutely;
Gen. 1: 26-27 teaches that God choose to create humanity “in his image”
Jn. 4: 23-24 tells us precisely that “God is a Spirit”
Q? How then does immortal & physical humanity emulate God who is immortal & Spirit?
The Universe contains many BILLIONS of stars, planets & galaxies; but only one: Earth can be proven to be able to sustain our life forms.
On Earth with its MILLIONS of living things only one; only humanity is Rational
To be rational 3 things are essential:
A mind
An Intellect
And a Freewill
At the instant of human -conception {creation] God implants a Soul into “man” created into His Own Image; making “man” alone the only Rational thing outside of heaven & hell
The soul can be defined as “that which animates /brings “life”
Man’s alone has a rational Soul; that emulates God in being both rational and immortal. Man’s soul does not die.
God does this in hopes of freely being Glorified. Man can choose either to love God or Hate God.
Man’s freewill cannot intelligently be refuted. Try to share your “freewill’s” color, shape, size and weight, and you’ll understand that these attributes are like GOD also spiritual realities.
They exist for our After life; where we choose by our life’s decisions eternal hell or heaven.
