This morning our communion hymn had the words,
Is not the Cup of Blessing that we bless
A sharing in the Blood of Christ.
The Bread that we break a communion
In the Body of the Lord.
This is pretty much 1 word for word Corinthians 10:16 and Paul is trying to tell everyone they are united with each other because they all partake of the Eucharist.
I’m curious if everyone thinks this scripture clearing shows that we receive the Body and Blood of Christ or if you think it’s fuzzy?
