Just a thought:
Those who adamantly state that Scripture is the one and only guide for us as Christians are issuing a self-contradictory statement.
Nowhere in Scripture is this stated; or implied in any way.
Therefore, those who adhere to this form of thought are actually in defiance of it themselves since it is absent from the Bible.
Consequently, making such a claim enters one into an oxymoron of sorts. One can not claim that the Bible is the sole guide; and then follow a Bible which never makes such a statement…right? If it’s NOT in the Bible, they say, then it is “no-good”.
