=frangiuliano115;13203505]Interesting. I love studying the bible. Nice how you put the thoughts together.

P.S. Your above statement in no. 4:
Then look at Mt. 28:19-20 where THAT MANDATE is overridden: cf. Go YOU! to the ENTIRE WORLD…
reminds me of Mathew 22:1-14 The Wedding Banquet.
–Those originally invited did not go to the wedding feast, so the servants of the king were sent to the streets to invite all who would come, both good and bad –
But warning: You had to be properly dressed! Thanks again.
Thanks!

As a FYI, my original log in is PJM so my future post God willing will appear under that sign in

God Bless you, if you have any question’s I’d be happy to take a “run at them”.

You know, sometimes you read something before having your coffee and it’s so great that you don’t even NEED your coffee after reading it!

I’m very thankful to you for having posted for everyone to read.

I have a few friends very involved in the church who believe that “everyone who is baptized in the Roman Catholic church” belongs to the church, the body of Christ. I ask them, But what about the guy baptized and then he grows up and murders people??. No answer. They also exclude protestants - That gate is getting narrower and narrower!

There is so much misinformation in our church, I’m sorry to say. I keep complaining about this to priests but they are too few and far between and seem unable to do any bible study. I wish more theology would be taught at Mass but they tell me it’s a Mass and not a classroom w/o thinking maybe that it could be done somehow. On EWTN I sometimes hear nice homilies that include theology.

A Deacon in our parish has started a bible study at 9 in the evening but too many people won’t go out that late. What to do??? I’m so frustrated at having to explain something I know for sure is correct but people seem to have their own idea, even if it’s wrong,. You know what they say - catholicism is not a democracy - . Cafeteria catholics and all that; it’s all due to insufficient teaching by our church.

Thanks again for the post.

God bless you
Fran
