Hi all,
im new here and im trying to learn more…
I think i’m trapped by scrupulosity…
The scrupulosity has put me quite on down state…
As im constantly worried whether im doing a sin or not…
So this afternoon i kinda worried that my state of mental has made me kinda get ED (Erectyle disfunction) and in consequences i tried to stimulate myself by fantasizing but im limiting them only imagining myself hug and kiss my ex passionately (i think?) just to make sure i didnt get ED…
Later on, i went to the mass and receive eucharist (receiving the holy communion) but to be honest im in doubt whether im in the state of mortal sin or not… During the mass, sometimes i got distracted by thought of what to confess, and whether the fantasizing part was a sin
My question is:

My question is:
- Did i do any mortal sins that need to be confessed? If so, can you elaborate why so i can learn what to do and what not to do next?
- I think i have a very high anxiety and stress level due to my scrupulosity, any tips on how to reduce the anxiety? Can i manage this myself or do i need help?
- Is seeking a professional after consulting the pastor (Such as psychiatrist) is recommended by the church to heal me from scrupulosity? If so, what are the limitation that i can tell them that can prevent me from sinning (By not telling them something that shouldn’t be told)
