Searching for a book

Hi all,

Would anyone know of a book that shows how Christ fulfilled the Old testament, on an item by item basis? I know some apologists do some talks in regards to this, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a book. I want to use it to show others.

The second volume of Pope Benedict’s Jesus of Nazareth covers this topic in great detail.

I don’t think his goal was to produce a book about “how Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament”, so there is other material and focus there. But that thread runs through the whole book, with tens and tens of examples.

It is never a bad idea to read his books anyway, as examples of beautiful intellectual rigor and vibrant orthodoxy. 👍
 
Just going by what I’ve heard you might want to give consideration to “The Crucified Rabbi” by Taylor Marshal. It compares Jesus not so much to the Old Testament but to Judaism. Still, can’t cover Judaism without the OT can you?
