Hello all, I am new to the forum, great to be here. I am an avid listener of Catholic radio, thought it was about time to make an account on Catholic.com. A little background about myself, I was raised Greek Orthodox, and have \“converted\” to Catholicism in full if you will. There was no need for me to go through RCIA and confirmation but I did the process anyway to learn more about the Church. I am an avid reader of the forums, I read many many books on Faith, and have studied many different faiths Christian and non. I am well versed in Church History as many converts are, and have talked Apologetics with many a Protestant or two. 
Coming from an Orthodox background I find myself in the Traditionalist camp of Catholicism, that older is more correct, though as a true Traditionalist I fully accept Papal authority and that of the Holy See. After witnessing changes to the Roman Rite that frankly have disturbed me I switched to the Eastern Rite being they are in full communion with the Church, as Orthodoxy is a bit further from it. I found the Novus Ordo Mass lacking in spirit in our local Roman parish, and certain things such as the Communion in hand and lack of respect in mass appalling. I would LOVE to find like minded Traditionalists in North Eastern Ohio, I see many people of the same mindset on the site, but it seems we are a widespread group.
