Is it a sin if someone uses the Lord’s name in vain and I do not say anything? If it is a sin, can that omission ever be mortal sin? I know it’s a sin to use the Lord’s name in vain and I would think it would be a sin of omission if I do not correct someone using the Lord’s name vainly. Just want to make sure. I just hope this omission can never be mortal

Just “nullify” it. If someone says, “Oh, Jesus” in front of you, you respond, “Our Lord and Savior.” Now instead of blasphemy, you’ve praised Him together.
