Is it a sin if someone uses the Lord’s name in vain and I do not say anything? If it is a sin, can that omission ever be mortal sin? I know it’s a sin to use the Lord’s name in vain and I would think it would be a sin of omission if I do not correct someone using the Lord’s name vainly. Just want to make sure. I just hope this omission can never be mortal :confused:
 
Just “nullify” it. If someone says, “Oh, Jesus” in front of you, you respond, “Our Lord and Savior.” Now instead of blasphemy, you’ve praised Him together.
