Today marks the second death anniversary of my dear father Wilfred Jayamanne who died aged 72 of a sickness leaving me, my brother and my mother. Kindly pray that his soul may enjoy Heavenly Bliss soon! God Bless you and Thank You!
(Its sad that I couldn’t be graduated before his death which he highly hoped)

Eternal rest grant unto Wilfred O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

And may the Lord comfort Wilfred’s family and wipe every tear from their eyes, until they are reunited with Wilfred again in heaven. Amen.
 
Loving God please welcome Wilfred into the fullness of Your merciful love at the instant of his passing two years ago.
Our God please flood His loving wife and two sons, in their sad loss of their husband and father.

Mother Mary please intercede for Wilfred and each of his family in all their needs, temporal and spiritual.

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth; Your providence
guides our lives; and by Your command we return
to dust. Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end. I pray in hope for
my family, relatives, and friends, and for all the dead
known to You alone.

In company with Christ, Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom, where all our tears
are wiped away. Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever. Amen.
