Ottawa, Canada – After signing bills over the last two weeks that promote taxpayer funded abortions in a national health care program, the Obama administration is taking its promotion of abortion abroad. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton attacked Canada’s Prime Minster for not promoting abortion at an upcoming conference.

funny, thats the same thing that the Liberal party in Canada wants

i’m not a big fan of Stephen Harper and the conservatives, but at least they realize that abortion is such a divisive issue and they don’t want to promote it
 
Harper has a lot of social and fiscal concervatives to juggle. He wants to avoid making abortion an issue, but he has to do some things to support his prolife MPs. Eliminating funding for planned parenthood is a good start. Not funding abortion is another step. But for Liberals, these are sins of omission, and they are going to try their best to make Harper look bad for it.

What will probably happen is that Harper will end up aloting a token small amount of funding for contraception, and will make his stand on that.

As for Hellary’s comments, wow…she’s scary. You guys can keep her. 🙂

being relatively new in Canada, i am actually quite pleasantly surprised at how conservative the overall views of Canadians are

a recent survey showed that more Canadians believe abortion is wrong and that they support the traditional definition of a marriage (between a man and a woman) even though this country universally allows abortion and gay marriage
 
I could never figure out what the socialists think is so wonderful about abortion.

This article needs to get wider readership.
