what’s a good verse to tell my family that just because being a Catholic and believing in God they are alright. I tell them to go out and do some social justice, charity work. Please give me a strong verse from the Bible quotes from the fathers of the church

In order: Matthew 22:36-39 followed by James 2:14-19,24

Also, there was no part of Jesus’ ministry where He sat around and said He believed in God. His entire time on earth was spent hanging out with “low life,” healing, and preaching. And then He said , “Follow Me.”
