Seeing angel numbers

Seeing Repeating numbers that angels use to communicate with you. What do you think?

Like if you constantly see 555 or 444 etc. On the clock or a building or especially when thinking about something and you pause and ask your angels what are they trying to tell you it’s a very comforting thing. Like if you are thinking about a loved one that has died and you randomly look at the clock at 444 or keep seeing it when you think of them it’s like a nudge from your angels that they are there with you.
 
Like if you keep seeing repeating numbers when you think of someone that has passed or if you are at a crossroads and it’s a sign that the angels are with you.
 
If you are praying to your angels and aging look I don’t know where to go can you help me and see those numbers then it’s a sign from them that they have heard you.
 
Where did you hear about this?

I concur with Fauken, it sounds superstitious, and not something that Catholicism actually teaches to be true.

There’s a video on it. Also I believe it doesn’t have to be numbers it can be anything that gets your attention.

 
A youtube video doesn’t mean something is true. I don’t believe there is any such thing as Angel Numbers, certainly not something that is a part of Catholicism, as nice an idea as it may be.
 
How do you know they are the Holy Angels and not the fallen ones? They are just numbers. Anyone can use them.
Angels have been recorded to talk with hermits and saints as voices or presenting themselves as ethereal young men who spoke directly (hence the icons; the wings were attached afterwards as a sign that those are not human but Divine).
Numbers and mechanicity is usually attached to the Enemy who is unforgiving and constantly tempting constantly seeking to punish, without mercy.
 
Signs or wonders are highly subjective I think. They are context dependent and if you experience something in that way then it’s your prerogative.

I’d advise someone, if they asked me, to avoid new age ideas about angels however and to stick with the tenets of organised religion and especially those of the Catholic Church.

Well because if you are praying they can choose to communicated with you in any way they want in ways that you can understand.
 
Sometimes it not so much a sign in that way but like a comforting nudge or communication to show that they are with you. They are not limited in showing up in specific ways.
 
I mean this with all kindness, but what you are saying simply suggests “Angel numbers” and the like are just superstitions. Very nice superstitions but superstitions all the same.
 
I understand, I’ve had exactly the same thing. Just keep up your prayer life, the sacraments and praying the rosary if you can. You can discern by the fruit but exercise caution please.

Have you read anything about angels from a Catholic author or source?
Avoid the new age ideas about them, especially some recent ones.

For examples of angel communication, refer to the beginning of Luke’s Gospel, and the book of Tobit. Number representations are not likely to represent anything very positive. Those noting this numerology may be superstitious are likely accurate.
 
About a year ago I thought everything I did God knew I’d do, therefore I used my actions to determine what God thought. So I’d play basketball and say in my head “if I make this shot I will be married eventually and have 4 kids”… figuring God knows if it will go in or not and He can make it go in if He wants to. I did this with pool and bowling also and will all sorts of questions and I honestly believed this answers. I did this for years just up to this past summer.

AND THIS IS ALL WRONG. It’s supersticious and it’s testing God. This is against Luke 4:12
