For about a week now I’ve been having dreams of him coming to me and saying he’s coming to get me. He needs me to go with him. He and I were together for only 9 weeks of my pregnancy. He was very verbally abusive so l left him. He’s very mean during the entire pregnancy. He passed away when our daughter was 3 months old and just this last week he seems to be trying to get me to cross over with him. I had probably the scariest dream ever last night. In the dream I had to sign my rights to my aunt and I gave her full custody of my daughter. After I signed my rights away I had to go get on a bus and leave the state. I dint know where I was headed but I assumed it was out of state. Instead as the bus kept on driving it just got darker and darker. That’s when my now 13 month old daughter woke up from a dead sleep at 2:30 AM this morning.

I just want help analyzing all of these dreams I’ve been having

Thank You,
M.K.

He cannot communicate with you through your dreams.
Please seek professional counseling to help you sort out your feelings for him and for your daughter. Perhaps you have some unfinished business with him that you are thinking about. It’s best that you get help for what you are thinking or worrying about from a professional. Be at peace.

If you read about the lives of the Saints, more than one of them has said that when dead people approach us in our dreams, they are actually asking for prayer.

What this dream might mean is that you need to pray for your ex and forgive him. Remember what Jesus said:

Matt 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

That may be why you see yourself going down a road that gets darker and darker. So, you might want to have masses said for you ex and pray for him yourself.

You went through some traumatic and life changing events in the last couple years.

There’s nothing astonishing about you having weird and unsettling dreams after all that.

But if it’s interfering with your ability to function, then seek professional help.

You may also like to use some sacramentals like Holy Water and Blessed Salt to bless yourself and your daughter before you go to sleep. You can also wear a blessed crucifix or miraculous medal and/or scapular around your neck. Ask a priest to bless them for you and you will be blessed and protected going forward.
