Hello! I am a mother of 3. 2 boys and 1 girl. Ages 11, 9 &4. My husband and I always dreamed of having 4 children but after our 2nd one we thought differently, since we became financially unsteady for a couple of years. Now thankfully we are doing ok. I am a working mother now that works as a secretary at an elementary school. I’ve really been thinking here deeply about considering a 4th baby. Preferably another girl to even them out, but a baby is a blessing either way. I would like to stay home again if it was to happen after delivery as I did get post partum depression and anxiety after my daughter. I’ve also had 3 c-sections already due to my first one not descending down after 18 hrs. However my last doctor said a 4th one would be ok since my uterus looked decently well. I am still scared because I love to workout when I can, and after my 3rd child I really struggled to get my strength back and I had a hard time even exercising. I need prayers and advice on what to do. I follow the billings method and shuttles for my natural planning. Please give me honest and empathetic advice.

Please give me honest and empathetic advice.
My honest and sincere advice is to seek informed and qualified advice in the real world, and not on an internet forum. No one here can possibly know enough about your physical, psychological, socio-economic or even spiritual situation to offer an opinion worth anything on so personal and sensitive a matter.

Sorry, it’s not what you wanted to hear, but relying on a bunch of random strangers on some internet forum is probably not going to help you any, and might even get you more confused. Speak to the people who know you and care about you in the real world.

Wishing you all the best!

You are not out of place, for your post comes under “parenting”.
Assuming your already seeking qualified advice elsewhere.
You’ve asked for prayers, you have mine.

If the Lord desires you to have the gift of another child …
then Lord, please make it so according to Your gift.

It sounds like you are already wanting another child. If you and your husband are in agreement, leave it to God to make the final decision. You both are the only ones who know if you will regret not having a 4th child. There is still time to get your body back and shape and such. Blessings.
