I am guessing that The Catholic Church is the kingdom of God.
If that’s true, how dose a person who wants to get married as a vocation seek first the kingdom?

The scripture says that other needs will be added to you if you do this…but the question remains
of HOW to do it?

When one seeks to do the will of the Father, one seeks the Kingdom of God. Every time we pray the “Our Father” we pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done.

To be a “rank and file” Catholic allows and recommends that one be married.

The hierarchy is not the Kingdom but a small part of it.

The Church is also made of the laity. Just because I am not employed by the Church does not mean that I am not working for the kingdom and I might do a job in a Catholic school or other Catholic organisation aswell as voluntary work outside of my paid employment. We also need married people to have children to make the Church. As a married woman to imitate Mary may be to have a son that’s a priest or otherwise contribute to the Catholic population and make the hands that do the work. I wouldn’t judge the Church based on hierarchy because as Jesus said the first will be last and the last will be first. Some of the holiest people could be at the bottom although I’m not saying that the current pope is not holy. Jesus also said if we want to be the greatest we should make ourselves into the least.
