116:1-5 I love the Lord because He has heard my voice…because He has inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me… I found trouble and sorrow, then called upon the name of the Lord… Gracious is the Lord…our God is merciful
116:6-8 I was brought low, and He helped me…thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling
118:5 I called upon the Lord in distress; the Lord answered… God is on my side; I will not fear
118:14 The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation
119:2 Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart
119:28 My soul melts for heaviness; strengthen thou me according to thy word
119:49-50 Remember thy word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast cast me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction.
