First, I will look into various translations of Matthew 19:9 for Church approved translations.
Second, I have heard that with annulments, the Church only looks at their decision making process prior to the marriage and not what the spouse has done in the marriage.
She also started dating a man who went through similar situation when his spouse cheated on him and was an alcoholic. His situation is different in that she was pregnant prior to marriage so it was as some would say a rather forced marriage. Not shotgun, but the old right thing to do, but found out later, maybe not so much.
In any case, if both cannot get annulments it will be a situation I fear that they will marry any way because if the Church leaves them, they will just leave the Church.
Difficult situations to deal with in these modern times as cheating spouses seems to be quite prevalent and it is hard for a woman with children to make it on her own without a real spouse to provide emotional support.
