But that doesn’t quite answer a reasoning to my question.

My son apparently traded toys with a friend. The friend was sent over to reverse it…

My son gave 2 maybe $1 gimmicks he got for free in return for $45 of toys

I unmade the trade because I have ultimate dominion over my son’s stuff.

But if he makes a trade I accept, can he not use the term “Mine” for simplicities sake???
Let me repeat this. YOU CANNOT SELL YOUR SOUL. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.

Everyone without exception has until their dying breath to repent and be saved.

[SIGN]Theophilus was the archdeacon of Adana, Cilicia which is part of modern Turkey. He was unanimously elected to be a bishop, but turned the position down out of humility. Another man was elected in his stead. When the new bishop unjustly deprived Theophilus of his position as archdeacon, Theophilus regretted his humility and sought out a necromancer to help him contact Satan. In exchange for his aid, Satan demanded that Theophilus renounce Christ and the Virgin Mary in a contract signed with his own blood. Theophilus complied, and the devil gave him the position as bishop.

Later, fearful for his soul, Theophilus repented and prayed to the Virgin for forgiveness. After forty days of fasting, the Virgin appeared to him and verbally chastised him. Theophilus begged forgiveness and Mary promised to intercede with God. He then fasted a further thirty days, at which time Mary appeared to him again, and granted him absolution. However, Satan was unwilling to relinquish his hold over Theophilus, and it was a further three days before Theophilus awoke to find the damning contract on his chest. He then took the contract to the legitimate bishop and confessed all that he had done. The bishop burned the document, and Theophilus dies, out of sheer joy to be free from the burden of his contract.[/SIGN]

Why was he so sure the contract was now void just because someone else burned the physical contract? LOL

This would be one case (if accurate), that one could ‘sell’ their soul, first, the soul was in good standing with God, so it has value to satan, Second, the reason why he offered his soul.

In any event, why do we ascribe to satan the power to do anything that someone may ask of him. Why do we ascribe to the devil the power that belongs only to God. Satan is just a loser who was cast out of heaven for rebelling against God. He does not have the power to grant wishes. That’s just Hollywood spinning a yarn.

  1. You can absolutely sell your soul.
You cannot sell your soul in the sense that some occult groups claim: that signing a particular document means that you never, ever turn to God and that you will, upon signing, be destined for hell no matter what you do.

That’s just a satanic lie to keep people in those groups.

To disagree with the above, IMO, is to engage in hair-splitting and maybe even equivocation.

The bible tells us, satan is pretty much running the show on the earth during our modern times, so you have to ask yourself, if he is such an enemy of God, why would he be given this ability in the first place, or any ability for that matter?

What sense does it make for God to ‘allow’ satan/ demons, to do all kinds of things in our world, when they were the ones who literally tried to overthrow heaven and the throne of God?

Bible says they were kicked out of heaven, down to earth with us actually, God even says Woe to the earth for the evil one is among you now, but it doesnt mention, that it is God himself who allows satan to be in the position he is…so…?

All is not what it seems is all I can say. The more I think about this, the more I think satan is just doing what God created him for, he is ‘the alternative’, which without one, there could not even be free will.
