Selling an item and then deciding to have it blessed

I have a question and hope I didn’t do wrong by it.

I made a rosary a few years back and sold it on eBay. After I sold it, I decided to have it blessed before shipping it to the buyer. I shipped it and then immediately afterward informed the buyer that I had it blessed. Was this a sin? I had not intended to have it blessed when I sold it, but since it was going to a non-Catholic I decided to have it blessed after I had sold it, and prayed for the person recieving it for their conversion. I thought perhaps blessing the item may help in the person’s conversion or their family’s conversion.

I hadn’t thought about this until I answered another question about relics. I hope I didn’t commit a sin by doing this. I haven’t done anything like that afterwards, but I would like to know if it was okay.

You were not intending to sell a blessed item.

Clearly the contract was made BEFORE you had it blessed.

However, it might be better in the future to have the purchaser bless such items himself.

I recall reading someplace that there are a couple of stores in Rome that will sell you the scroll containing the Papal Blessing. Then, once the scrolls are sold and your property, they will take them to the Vatican, have them blessed and send them to you.

Note that they sell you the item; not the blessing. They then obtain the blessing on your property as a service to you. This would seem to fit the same format.
