I’m still praying for your intention. But a thought did occur to me… maybe people see the very low price and assume that there’s something wrong with your house? When I was looking online for houses to buy, I would put a minimum price on my search to weed out the real fixer-uppers out there. How is your realtor advertising? Is it time to fire him/her and find someone else? We have several realtors advertise in our church bulletin, maybe there are some at your old parish too.

May God lead the right family to your house. He has someone in mind to live in your house, and finding your house will be a blessing to them. We’ll be selling our house soon and I ask for your prayers too, that we find a good buyer and another great house for our family. 🙂

Thanks so much for the great prayer. I prayed it for you and for me today, as well as for all those who are in the same boat with us on that rocky sea. I pray that Jesus will calm the sea. I pray that God continue to enlighten us on how to market our house and that He will come to our aid.

Thanks for your prayers. I have had one showing last week and since no interest. For a long time I have really been struggling with selling my house and really have lapsed into a state of depression over it. I am a firm believer that God does everything for a reason and sometimes that reason does not make sense to us. I have thought that a lot in my life, but looking back God’s way was always the right way. I have many examples of this. Since joining this board, I have become stronger in my faith again and see a possible reason God has for not allowing my house to sell. It was a way to get me here. I have found two people on here besides me who are in the same situation as I am. I think that God has brought us all together on here. I ask that all members of this board pray to God that all people who are struggling the way we are - financially and with the burden of not being able to sell a house and especially those losing everything including their house as a result. Many people do not understand why our houses are not selling. Some kindly offer advice and ask well are you doing this that and the other. Our houses are being well maintained. The market is awful and many of us are attempting to give our houses away for nothing just to sell them. Please pray to God for us, that we may have the strength to carry this cross.

Dear Steve…thank you for this update and the post above was real encouragement to keep Faith even when things are going wrong. I too experience these Forums and many of the members that I feel as if are friends…and indeed they are - cyberspace friends and a new way of communicating and relating and being together. I too have experienced that they are supportive of me in Faith - and a support I never had before. Giving thanks for them…and especially those, like you, who are a light and encouragement when things may go wrong. Thanks Steve! Am continuing to keep you in prayer that you will sell your house and may The Lord ever support and console you in all things and in that dark walk that Faith can sometimes be.

Heavenly Father, please come to the aid of Steve and his wife, please send them a suitable buyer for their home which will allow them to move forward in their lives, and allow them to focus better on You and doing Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Thanks so much for your prayers. Undoubtedly it was prayers that got us this offer==== it is a miracle. After sitting for two years on the market, we have had more interest since I joined this message board and started praying with you and everyone else about the cause then it did in the entire time before. It goes to show that we all must keep the faith. I will pray to St. Rita that she intercede for your intention that the showing of your home yields results. Thank you, thank you, thank you= for giving the most powerful gift of prayer.

Hello All,

It has been quite the wirlwind for my wife and I over the past two weeks and that is why this prayer warrior has not been on too much. - sorry. You all have been in my prayers, however.

In regards to the house, we finally have a signed purchase contract and are now just waiting for the home inspection. Please pray that the inspection goes well. My wife and I are already taking a loss on the property, but we are at the bottom of our barrel of what we can bring to closing to sell it.

My wife and I have had two big issues in our life over the past two years and I know that God never gives one more than he/she can handle, but it was quite the cross to bear with these two issues. As you are aware, the first was the house. The second was infertility. We have done a whole list of Catholic Friendly treatments. Two weeks ago after a series of injections, my wife got what she believed was her period and because of the financial hardship we are currently in we faced the reality that further treatment at this time was not doable. On Wednesday night this week, my wife began having horrible side pain. I took her to the ER and found out that she is pregnant! It was a very bittersweet moment for us - we were pregnant, but the viability of the pregnancy was in question. Today we still do not know how viable the pregancy is going to be. She had blood work and an ultrasound in the ER and another round will be done today. Please pray for us in this dark hour as well.

My faith was shaky before I started talking to all of you and praying with you on this board. I have re-strengthened it. Our prayers have been answered. We have an purchase agreement and we are pregnant. Thank you thank you thank you for giving us a very powerful tool, your prayers.
