It’s very common in my country to send objects in an envelope via letter because the cost of shipping packages is too high, but the norms of the postal service doesn’t allow that.
A few days ago, I asked the owner of a virtual store if they could send me a certain product via letter, but she refused and said that it’s fraud and sinful.
Considering that the postal service is state monopoly, the prices are very high and the price is bad, is it sinful to send and receive objects via letter? If so, it’s grave mater?

Pay Ceasar what is due to Ceasar, taken out of context slightly but we need to obey in the little things or how will we obey in the greater.

In the United States postage is based on weight.
The content of the envelope is not an issue…just the weight.

Send it by the least expensive, most secure means. It’s the postal service’s job to worry about prices.
