**Sensing God
**
The presence of God is like a warm blanket of love,
Surrounding me like a thick cloud below and above;
A deep comfort envelopes me unmatched by any;
A sense of peace fills me deeply in His love aplenty.
Concepts enter my mind and I recognize God’s hand,
I work with them in my mind striving to understand
What God is trying to communicate in His special way,
And its meaning and direction for me on this very day.
I do not always sense God and this is His will divine;
He wants me to develop deep faith that I can call mine;
He wants me to trust in Him that he will always provide
Whether I am doing great, average, or just hurting inside.
I learnt to recognize God in the quiet during deep prayer,
Putting all of myself in it, and knowing fully He was there.
Fully participating in the Holy Mass, God spoke inside me
Linked with the Divine Liturgy and helping me to see truly.
I sensed the deep love and alien concepts entering my being,
And come to understand it was God Himself that I was feeling.
It was not spoken words but entire concepts coming inside of me
Helping me to understand what was happening more completely.
God works in many ways, not necessarily the same for everyone;
He wants us to come to deeply love Father, Holy Spirit, and Son.
He desires to communicate with each and every human being,
Forming a strong lasting bond of deep trust and endless loving.
Desire to have a good relationship with God and really work on it,
Focusing all your mind, heart, and soul and listening in quiet,
Give God a chance to enter in however He desires in His way,
Work on it sincerely and communicate better in love each day.
