if you get seperated or divorced from your wife, and the husband wanted it,and your wife decides to remarry another man,or if you seperate and your wife dates other men,is it the mans fault for what the wife is doing, is it his guilt if he decided to get seperated from his wife, or in the other case divorced from his wife!!.if the man decides to follow catholic teachings and remains on his own through out his whole life and inline and holy with jesus and catholic church teachings…is the man still in mortal sin because he seperated/divorced his wife and caused her to commit adultery…or is it just her fault not yours!!
what iam really interested to know is,can the husband be the fault of his ex wifes actions even though the husband is doing what is right by god and the wife is not…i.e she is an adulter.
now if the husband had good ground to seperate or divorce…we say he cant live with her because of a lot of problems in marriage!!
sorry if this sounds really complicated!!😊

kev.

Each one of us is responsible for his own actions and will be held accountable for them at the particular judgement. That is what free will is all about. The husband in this case should make an appointment with a priest to help him sort out the situation and hopefully file for an annulment.

did jesus not say that if you leave your wife for any reason that you cause her to comit adultery… 🤷…so is jesus saying that the one who leaves first is responsible for 2 acts of adultery,i saw it in bible and it really confuses me:(

another thing i can not understand is why is the church so understanding to feminists…you cant even control your wife nowadays and come on god gave men the control in marriage…women today want to control and be above there husbands…my idea in marriage is that the man has full control with things his word is gospel…thats why marriages fail women rebel against there husbands, god given authority over there wifes…this is like 2 plus 2 = 4 its natural to me:yup:…good men look after there wifes and direct them accordingly…the catholic church keeps quiet when the women are rebelious towards there husbands,if i was a women i would be bloody happy if a man married me…anyways dont mind me,i just prefare the old way…when women were women and men were men…but men were created first to rule in gods way;)😉

What—did you divorced your wife —because she would not “submit” to being controlled and treated — like a dependent child.

I thought you are a Catholic. You sound like some extremist Muslim. I am surprised any sane woman would want to marry you when you sound so arrogant.

I am no theologian Kevin but I will try. Are you referring to Mark 10, 11-12? It was Christ stating that divorce practised before, was wrong and marriage cannot be dissolved. The Church does sanction annulments where no valid marriage was entered into. Further, someone could get a civil divorce and be considered considered to have sinned . However, remarriage without an annulment would mean in the eyes of the church commiting adultery as you are still deemed married to your first partner .

We do not not know what is in the hearts of others and what anyone goes through. We all sin and it is for God to judge.

I hope this helps.
