Thal59: Well reasoned and erudite commentary, read it with interest. Only one sour note, a reference to the now you see, now you don’t, star. Even though it was said in passing as a humorous aside. In reality a conjunction as you well know, Three or Six B.C.E. the discussion starts there and continues ad nausium. Dropping this right now. Will continue to monitor, have seen your works in the past. Never had reason to answer, that star always brings a knee-jerk reaction. (nearly added word between that and star sure to get barred from site) Any reference to St. Mary of Magdala (or Magidan, as believe) brings same reaction. Remember “Life is a tragedy full of joy” Dan.

Dancus:
In relation to the “sour note” you spoke of, to be honest, I have no idea what you are talking about. The best guess I can make is that you have had past debates about why the people of Jesus’ ministerial days did not remember His miraculous birth. But I have never heard or participated in such discussions. What your reference to 3 or 6 BC, and everyhting after that means, I can’t tell. Could you be a bit more specific?
