I have a condition that can cause sudden death and several other health problems. I am feeling very unwell this weekend, but need to be ready for work on Monday. I am a teacher with all exam classes.

Please pray for me as I often struggle with a sense of hopelessness and frustration at the limitations my condition places on me. I am only mid 40s and used to be so active and involved in life, but now struggle with so many things.

  From a heavenly perspective, you have been given a gift.  A cross. Before Jesus ever gives us a cross, He measures its width.  It cannot be one inch too short, or one inch too long.   Then, He measures its length.  Again, it cannot be one inch too short or too long.  Then, he measures it.  It cannot be one ounce to heavy, or one ounce too light.  Only then, with the utmost care and love does He put this cross on our shoulders.  It is by the cross we are saved, and by which we can save others by offering up our suffering!  It has been said that many souls are lost because no one prayed or offered sacrifices for them.

  Take this opportunity to thank Jesus for your cross.  Offer up your sufferings in reparation for sins; yours and others.  Then, rejoice!
Jesus loves you, Fran, more than you’ll ever know on this side of heaven! 🙂
