Miracles waited on your word, which you were always ready to request for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for Emily a return to total health. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the Saint of Miracles. Gentle and loving Saint Anthony, whose heart is ever full of human sympathy, take my petition to the Infant Savior for whom you have such a great love, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.

Emily, a wonderful, pious, humble, and sweet 16 year old (my niece) On Wednesday she became very ill with a staph infection. She is in the hospital and the doctors are confounded by her condition. It is in her reproductive organs, which for a girl who is modest very embarrassing. Nevertheless, it’s this serious infection that I am asking, pleading really, for your prayers. I’m very worried, and trying to Trust God at the same time. I’m praying for a miracle here, one that will TRULY confound the doctors.

Thank you for praying. My heart is breaking! I’m off to Mass now!
