Alot of time at weekday Masses our servers don’t wear albs. Is this o.k.

We never have servers at weekday Mass… instead, someone just steps up at the proper moment (sometimes different individuals, sometimes the priest has to request someone). As such, no albs. For what it’s worth, we also leave it up to the Holy Spirit to select our lector and EMHC to distribute from the cup.

When you say “server”, do you mean an altar server, or a Extra Ordinary Eucharistic Minister?

At my church altar servers always wear albs, but we don’t have them on weekdays. Extra Ordinary Eucharistic ministers never wear albs.

Anyone know what cannon law says?

The other posts made a good point. Those at daily Mass aren’t servers. I took it to mean “the people who help the priest prepare for consecration”.

339. In the dioceses of the United States of America, acolytes, altar servers, lectors, and other lay ministers may wear the alb or other suitable vesture or other appropriate and dignified clothing.
