Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (punisherthunder). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into punisherthunder’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Thank you all for praying with me, it means a lot to me personally in ways you may never fully know. I did see a GI specialist and he was unable to diagnose my problem. I have been instructed on a medicine/rest plan for a few days. If that doesn’t alleviate my pain, then a CT scan will be ordered. I’m nervous about all this as I just lost a former classmate yesterday to cancer. Although I told the doctor, and he agreed with me that I distribute no warning signs at all for anything serious that he can find.

Please continue to say a prayer that he either finds the problem or I am cured.
 
Please try to stay calm … stress is bad for abdominal pains … and this could be something as simple as IBS … I get severe abdominal pains with IBS … praying for you … God Bless.

***Update

We are going to be moving forward on a CT scan of my abdomen. I’m scared of them finding something, but I’m scared of them not finding something because the GI doctor is puzzled as to what is wrong with my stomach. Prayers for a quick diagnosis or CT scan is helpful.

Continued prayers. I completely understand your concerns- when I began having horrible stomach pain in April of this year, I had test after test until October, when they finally figured out what was wrong. I had a CT, upper endoscopy,ultrasound, x-rays, EKG (in case it was my heart and not my stomach), blood work, stool tests, etc. Naturally, the longer I went undiagnosed the more afraid I became that it was serious, such as cancer (although nothing popped on the CT).

In the end it turned out to be food allergies and sensitivities. I’m allergic to corn, dairy, and garlic, and I have serious sensitivities to salicylates and histamines. I hadn’t even heard of those sensitivities.

In any case, I tell you that to encourage you- it may turn out to be something quite simple, and quite easy to treat.

You are in my prayers- after my experience I have a super soft spot for anyone with undiagnosed stomach issues. God bless you.
