I don’t think “run away” is necessarily the best answer - unless you find yourself very strongly tempted to fall into sin with or because of him, or if he tries at all to push your limits.
But do limit your relationship with him! Make your limits very broad and clear and ensure that he knows you will leave if he tries to push your limits. Don’t be exclusive or alone or date, just be a friend if you can - a friend who helps him find the help he needs! And I don’t mean for you to be the help he needs, but to support him in finding the help he needs, a counselor or confessor or spiritual director or rehab place or whatever. And pray the whole time, of course.
