When menopause begins and temp/ dates are no longer effective, does Catholic teaching amount to “no sex for a few years”?

Why? Maybe God wants to send you a “caboose baby.”

Trust in God, and have fun. 🙂

There are NFP instructions for those in menopause.

Look at Creighton, Billings, and Marquette.

Fertility begins to decline over ten years before menopause. The chances of getting pregnant naturally after 45 are less than 1%. After 50 it’s one in 10,000.

The thing about God is that, like Han Solo, you never tell Him the odds. Otherwise you might find yourself 52 and pregnant. 😃

Look at different NFP methods, there is way more than just dates and temps, find the method that best works with you.

Nope. Menopause is not a barrier to sex. It may decrease “drive” but sex is perfectly acceptable during this time. 👍

a married couple can have sex whenever they want, assuming they don’t violate any morals! doesn’t matter about your age.
