Shall I wear rosary beads to mass?

I always wear rosary beads wrapped around my hand to mass, is it wrong to do so?

I would suggest that you at least remove them for Communion, unless receiving on the tongue, which, being Maronite, perhaps you do. A lady at our Latin parish has her beads wrapped around her hand, and it is difficult to watch her try to communicate with one hand wrapped around by her beads.
 
Do you consider it a fashion statement? Or is it purely a devotional reminder? Do you wear them at other times, too? I believe that your intent will guide you as to whether or not it is wrong.

I wear Rosary beads for prayer, and I wear them outside of mass too, not for fashion but for the reminder of the virgin Mary and Christ and also prayer
 
Rosary beads are not to be “worn”. They are not jewelry or clothing or good luck charms, and should never be on display like a necklace. However, carrying them in your hand, or pocket, or having a “decade bracelet” discreetly on your wrist is more for prayer and devotion than “fashion” and there is nothing wrong with that. One way to determine is, if you are not actually praying with the beads, is the way they are being displayed ostentatious? Then it might be better to try a more subtle approach.

Technically the Mass is its own celebration and the Rosary should be prayed outside the Mass. Before is fine, after is just as well, and during Eucharistic Adoration is common. Perhaps put your beads in your pocket or on one hand during Mass, though, if you have any concerns about the propriety.
 
It’s only wrong if it detracts from your participating in the Mass. Among some ethnic communities you’ll find other sacramentals being held - crucifix, miraculous medals, etc.
 
I have never heard carrying a rosary in one’s hand described as “wearing” it. :hmmm:
 
I struggle with anxiety related issues, so I wear the Rosary every day but I keep it inside my clothing hidden.

I usually say a Chaplet before Mass, so I tend to hold my rosary in my hand throughout. It’s my way of “remembering” all the people that I’ve prayed for. Then I go to Adoration.

Frankly I’d be surprised if anyone noticed little me – I’m not much to look at!

To have a Rosary in your hand is the same as holding the hand of our Blessed Mother.

To hold her hand at the foot of the Cross… why not?
 
what is wrong for one person may be right for you. Only you can be the guide. I personally wouldn’t even if happen to be RC which am not but if I was I still wouldn’t. But it is a matter of personal preference. Though if it takes you away from the Mass because you are being distracted by the beads in some way then the answer is to leave them in your bag/pocket throughout Mass.

Only you can decide this one and God will guide you if you ask him
