I am in the rear left hand side, not in view of the camera. On the right hand, underneath the statue, is the Rev. Fr. Charles Hough IV, rector and pastor, Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham. Also, participating in the choir was the Rev. Fr. Timothy Perkins, vicar general, Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. I take time to note these priests because sometimes I read on online forums that Roman Catholic priests do not care about their music programs.

My favorite part of this piece, exquisitely set by Howells and which I often use as a basis for my own Facebook reflections, starts at around the 5:28 mark with “We therefore pray thee, help thy servants: whom thou hast redeemed with thy precious blood”.

This one is the original Gregorian Chant.

The other one uses a portion of the same poem, but it is more diverse. It has nine movements and each one around lasts a minute and a half.

This one is the Gregorian Chant Sub Tuum Praesidium.

And this is a bit more modern version based on the same prayer.

Thank-you Tad. Only have links for a few, as I downloaded some, and lot the links.

Sorry I have nothing to offer myself, I’m looking to those who have a love of sacred music to share some for all of us.

Thanks in advance.
