Yes, I sang it at my grandpa’s funeral. I love it. I was trying to find an online version that wasn’t too “country”…apparently that’s a tall order.
 
And Can It Be…this was my dad’s favorite…just beautiful. This version makes me feel little girl again singing it with my church.

The Carmelite Martyrs of Compiegne, before they were beheaded, renewed their religious vows and sang this hymn, right there in front of the crowd and in the shadow of the guillotine.

 

Some people don’t like the Gloria since it is so long, so I don’t know what reaction I will get.

It has like 12 movements so it kind of is technically 12 songs.

Yeah, but this is for the Stations of the Cross, so it’s what… 4 mins per station? not too bad
 
But this is ten movements so you are short five. Plus it doesn’t include the prayers for the Stations.
