This setting of St Teresa’s bookmark was composed for the 500th anniversary of the birth of St Teresa of Avila. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I don’t know what this painting has to do with the song.

Who doesn’t love Kumbaya?

You had to go there, didn’t you? 👵🚬

And what in the world are those poor sisters wearing on their heads? When in history was it fashionable for women to wear a box on their foreheads? 😂

God_Is_So_Great:
Lord of the Dance
One of my very favorites.
Gertabelle,
I used to love that song when I was a teenager. And then I got involved in Irish dance and now this is my main association with this song:

I just can’t think of it as a “hymn” anymore. 😂

Gertabelle, after watching your clip, I won’t be able to think of it as a hymn anymore either… the guys look like dancing Black Widow spiders ! YIKES !

These three are my very favorite hymns. Whenever we sing these are the only times I wish God had blessed me with a beautiful voice instead of my 🐸 voice.

"I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say"

My favorite version of "Be Thou My Vision"

"Jesus Christ is Risen Today"
(I love it when we sing it faster and up-beat and hate it when sung s-l-o-w and tortured).
