I’m only familiar with the Sunni Islamic Sharia Law and after reading it, this is how I feel… :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

When you say 7 interpretations of Islam, are you speaking of Sharia?

No; The only two distinctions of sharia law that Iam aware of is Sharia law and fiqh. the Latter is changeable and fallible where Sharia is infallible and unchangeable according to the Koran.

The distinctions of what is Sharia and what is fiqh begins the path of each Muslim’s interpretation of Sharia applicable to a Muslim’s discipline of Islamic faith, which alludes to the seven different interpretations of the Koran. Some Muslims may state they do not follow Sharia law according to another Muslim’s interpretation of Sharia law, which leads to what a Muslim claims to be fiqh which can change or modify Sharia law to a Muslim’s interpretation, which can lead to confusion by Western standards.

Thank you, I am gathering and learning more about Spencer and his co-author who is an ex-Muslim.

I am strikingly surprised that both Spencer and his ex-Muslim co-author both have death threats made on their lives here in the U.S by Muslims, for teaching the true goal’s of Islam? When according to Sharia law, a death penalty is charged against all ex-Muslims.
