Islamic sense of fairness…

We Moslems will get you to pay a tax simply by virtue of being non-Moslem.

And, if you don’t pay, we’ll slaughter you.

Further, we’ll establish laws by which none of you can ever, by your testimony, convict one of us in a court of law.

And, if you don’t accept this, we’ll slaughter you.

Futher, we’ll make sure you can’t freely practice your faith, nor build new churches, nor seek converts.

And, if you don’t accept this, we’ll slaughter you.

etc.

We’re on different paths.

Even in a non-religious way, e.g. logic, viz. you accept that an imposition is fair and divers other examples
And I said, that Imposing of law is there in your religion too. Infact, it is there in all system of law and order, all over the world. How can you critisize just one among million for that? That’s what seems illogic to me.

And then there were Moslems objecting to me telling them how to interpret scripture.

Have a look at this

It must *be * Ramadam - time for the insults!
Ok. Then you are accepting, you are a true Christian. Then you are supposed to follow the law of your Bible as well. You are supposed to obay any ruling government. Then we both are in the same ship.

As Christians we are to obey the Rule of God. If the earthyl system is contrary to the Rule of God, like sharia and islam, then we are not to obey it. That is why there are so many martyrs in the first few centuries. The Ruling government demanded that Christians renounce their faith, but this was against the Rule of God, so the Christians were killed. God bless and may God grant you the grace to see the Truth.

I hear all of this talk about sharia law and was curious to insights from those knowledgeable about the Islamic faith. Is the concept of sharia law held by all Muslims as a rulling system that should be imposed on all humanity? Where do non-belivers fit in? Any other insights??

By the way, this is my first post 👍
Shariah is an arabic word for ‘’ law or code’’ Shariah law composes basicly of different types of laws that are set by islam to its followers. They nearly encompass every thing in life. They encompass everything from how to pray and how to wash to how to sell and purchase and how to marry. How to lend and how to distribute inheritence. how to make supplication and what supplication to say on what occasion. How to conduct business and how to treat other people. How to punish criminals and how to solve disputes.

etc… there is a comon myth that islamic law is to be imposed on all humans. this is simply not true because to gain the rewards from God in applying islamic law you have to be muslim.

Islamic law does have some rules that are not consiedered humane by todays standards llike stoning for admitting married adulters and cutting of hands for thieves . Most Muslims ( seems to be unlike most jews and christians) are not ashamed or afraid to admit that such these codes are God’s laws . Thus we get critizcism for bieng violent people. however we just believe that God knows better than we do .

Its somehow stupid to think that muslims love to apply islamic law on nion muslims. i cant imagine what muslism would benefit when they trry to convince a christian that if he sins on his wife he will be stoned. If a msulims ‘‘really’’ means harm to you he wouldnt really give a damn if a christian cheats on his wife and gets away with it in this life.

It isnt really that horrible monster that some people make it think to be .

hope i clarified a bit

And I said, that Imposing of law is there in your religion too.
Indeed you did say this, many times. And I’ve said it isn’t. It’s in the OT and the laws of the OT were fullfilled. We’ve moved on - with a fuller understanding of God through Jesus.
Infact, it is there in all system of law and order, all over the world. How can you critisize just one among million for that? That’s what seems illogic to me.
It would seem illogic to you, because for you right is wrong and wrong is right. All over the world they do impose law and order, but to do so discrimininating is to discriminate.

That’s why you don’t get it - because you think to discriminate is normal.

Are you even reading what’s written? I doubt it. There’s like a fog over your eyes.

The law of Moses, for example was for a limited time

Oh, why even bother…

If by ‘clarify’ you mean ‘deceive’

Islmaic laws are a fully comprehensive system of behaviour.

There’s laws regarding how you behave towards non-Moslems, and there’s laws of how to deal with non-Moslems in your power (ie. under Islamic controlled systems)

I don’t know, what you think about law of Moses, but what Jesus (pbuh) said according to your own Bible is,

Matthew 5:19 “Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

You can accept or reject. 😉 By the way, this thread too becoming out of profitability.

Let me find a christian who do follow his christ.

I don’t know, what you think about law of Moses,
You don’t care. You’re now in the realm of spamming the threads as countless Christians have talked to you about this.

Evidentally that’s something you have to do in Ramadam (but use that as an excuse for not posting on another thread) Go figure!

If i am really a deciever then it would be great to clarify what did i decieve about. Instead of going around insulting people.

I noted that already, about Islam has laws about how to rule over non-Moslems

You said…

The myth is what you said.

The Koran says that you’re to impose a tax on non-Moslems

You’re not to deal with them as close friends, etc.

And if they ‘rebel’
[5.33] The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement,

Countless Christians? How many of them do follow words of Jesus (pbuh) in your Bible?

My dear friend,

If you are a true Christian, you are supposed to follow words of Jesus (pbuh) in your Bible.

Then, you are supposed to follow all the laws in the OT.

If you don’t follow, you are not following words of Jesus (pbuh).

If you are not following his words, you are not a true christian.

If you are not a true Christian, don’t say you are a true Christian.

I can’t make it clearer than this.😊

At very least Meedo is giving this debate a go.

Khalfan’s self-amused spamming that Christians don’t follow Christ is, I’m afraid the end of the argument for him.

Khalfan’s unable to explain how a tax imposed is not a tax imposed. Even if it were in the OT (and I’ve pointed this out) it woudl still be an ‘imposed tax’ (albeit at the command of God). But so removed is Khalfan from the light that he won’t even agree that this is the case.

For him a tax (imposed by command al-lah) is not an imposed tax.

Unable to even deal with this he’s content to repeat mantra-like some attempt to say that we Christians don’t follow Christ - despite many attempts to point out that Christ fulfilled the laws of the OT.

Jesus Christ represents the NEW covenant with God. He is the fullfillment of what is in the OT. Just look to Jesus Christ and he will have the answers for you. And we are not to obey a governemental system that is counter to God. That is why many Christians have been murdered by communists, nazi’s, muslims and other godless peoples. God bless and I pray that God give you peace in your heart. :signofcross:

Khalfan’s showing another Moslem merry-go-round here.

Your attempt to derail the thread is obvious:rolleyes:

The thread is about Sharia law and its imposition on non-Muslims.
